No Member Of Gandhi Family Will Attend Anant Ambani's Wedding, Sonia Gandhi To Extend Her Wishes To The Couple
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding: On July 4, 2024, industrialist Mukesh Ambani visited Congress leader Sonia Gandhi at her residence at 10 Janpath, to invite her to his son's wedding.
Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, are set to tie the knot on July 12. This wedding will see the attendance of prominent figures from both India and abroad. On July 4, 2024, industrialist Mukesh Ambani visited Congress leader Sonia Gandhi at her residence at 10 Janpath, to invite her to his son's wedding. However, it has been reported that no member of the Gandhi family will be present at the wedding. Nonetheless, Sonia Gandhi will extend her best wishes to the Ambani family.
Politicians To Attend Anant Ambani's Wedding:
Apart from the Gandhi family, other prominent politicians were also invited to Anant Ambani's wedding. A few days back Mukesh Ambani along with his son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant met Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and extended the invitation for the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also arrived in Mumbai to attend the lavish wedding ceremony. The list also includes other prominent names like the Thackeray family, and Devendra Fadnavis, among others, who have been invited to the event.
Traffic Restrictions In Mumbai:
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding will take place at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC), located in Mumbai's central business district. Roads near the venue will be opened for "event vehicles" between 1 PM and midnight July 12-15. A detailed advisory on road restrictions for the three days has also been issued by the traffic police in Mumbai.
The venue is being decorated with flowers and lights resulting in slowing down of traffic in that area.
The main wedding ceremonies will start on Friday, 12th July with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. Saturday, 13th July will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad or Divine Blessings. Sunday, 14th July, will be the Mangal Utsav or the Wedding Reception.
Photographers and camera professionals are being specifically transported from Los Angeles to capture the memorable moments of the lavish wedding.
The dress code for the event is formal Indian wear. The invitation also specifies that attendance is limited to guests aged 14 years and older.
