New Delhi: Aditi Rao Hydari stunned everyone with her magnificent regal outfit as she walked the ramp at India Couture Week. On Wednesday night, she looked stunning in an ensemble designed by Ritu Kumar. Aditi's unique style statement has been making ripples in the fashion industry for quite some time, but this was a notch higher as her style clearly reflected her poised and gracious demeanour.


The Outfit:


Designer Ritu Kumar shared some snippets from the event featuring Aditi in the magnificent ivory lehenga with intrite designs all over the blouse. She also wrote about the gorgeous ensemble and said that its a tale of textile magic ensues, unfolding with the splendor of Kashmiri embroidery.


"This exquisite lehenga, adorned with a Gazal Jacket, is a masterpiece meticulously hand-embroidered to manifest unforgettable opulence. Each intricate stitch is a labour of love, woven skillfully with artistry passed down through generations. The Gazal jacket, with a touch of gold zardozi work, embraces the grace of the traditional Kashmiri design. At the same time, the lehenga exudes a timeless elegance adorned with geometric & floral motifs seamlessly creating a blend of tradition and modernity," she further added.


Aditi paired the outfit with a maang tika from the shelves of The Gem Palace.






Additionally, she walked with designer Ritu Kumar and took the final bow at the Reliance Brants Ltd opening show by Ritu Kumar.






Aditi Rao Hydari also shared her views about Ritu Kumar and the Couture’23 collection. 






During the media interaction post-show, Aditi opened up about what fashion means to her. She said, "I don’t have a fashion mantra, that’s my fashion mantra. I believe that we should wear clothes then that they should wear us. It should not be peer pressure or any burden. We should have fun with the clothes that we wear. I think what is more important is to love yourself and love what you wear and that is what truly matters."


Meanwhile, on the work front, Aditi is all set to star in the Indo-U.K co-production 'Lioness'. which is the official Indo-UK co-production being made under the bilateral treaty signed by the two countries in 2008, was announced at the India Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival. Apart from that, Aditi also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi in the pipeline.
