The Kerala Students Union marched to Maharaja's Government College in Ernakulam condemning the alleged attempt by a SFI leader to produce a fake experience certificate for securing a job. The KSU, a wing of the Indian National Congress, also condemned SFI state general secretary passing the exam without appearing for it.
According to ANI, "Kochi, Kerala | KSU (Kerala Students Union) marched to Maharajas College, alleging the involvement of former SFI leader Vidya Vijayan in an attempt to get a job by using a fake seal & letterhead of the College. They were also protesting over the issue wherein SFI state general secretary Arsho PM "passed" the exam without appearing for it."
Police booked a case against K Vidya, a resident of Kasargode, for producing a fake experience certificate to secure a guest lecturer job in a government college in Wayanad. She produced a certificate claiming that she was a guest lecturer at Maharaja's College during 2018-19 and 2020-21. However, Vidya was only a student of MA in Malayalam during 2016 - 2018 at Maharaja's College.
Based on a complaint, Vidya was booked under a non-bailable offense case for producing fake certificates
In another incident, SFI State Secretary PM Arsho was absent for the third-semester exam since he was in jail during the exam days. However, Maharaja's College marked him as a pass in the exams. After the incident came to light, the college immediately removed the result from the college website. In the evening, the college recorded Arsho as failed in the republished mark list.
