A massive fire erupted at Rahul Hyundai showroom situated on Shankara Math Road in Shivamogga Nagar around 10 pm on Friday night. The ablaze swiftly engulfed the showroom and spread rapidly to both its exterior and interior. As more than five firefighting vehicles were rushed to the scene, a major untoward event was averted. There was no loss of life reported in the incident since the showroom was shut after the day's business. However, seven cars were gutted in the incident. 


According to ANI, Fire broke out in a car showroom last night in Shivamogga. Six vehicles were damaged in the fire.


Preliminary investigation revealed a short circuit as the reason for the blaze.

The intense fire caused extensive damage, gutting several cars displayed inside the showroom. Hundreds of people gathered at the spot. Additionally, the thick smoke billowing from the site made authorities order a power shutdown in the vicinity.


Firefighters were engaged in a rigorous operation to douse the flames and prevent further escalation of the situation. Authorities also urged residents to exercise caution and avoid the affected area until the situation was controlled.














Last year, a fire near a car showroom on Ballari road caused a traffic standstill in Bengaluru. The blaze engulfed a temporary godown-like structure near First Cars Bengaluru, a used car showroom in Byatarayanapura, around 6 pm. Consequently, vehicles heading towards the airport and traffic from Kodigehalli, Sahakarnagar, and Hebbal were brought to a halt. Later, three fire tenders from High Grounds, Hebbal, and Yelahanka fire stations rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire by 7:15 pm.
