In a video posted on social media, a woman driver was seen making vulgar gestures and taunting protesting farmers who were blocking roadways. The video is believed to have been recorded during a confrontation between commuters and demonstrators during the Bharat Bandh, which was called by farmers on their march towards Delhi to seek a legal guarantee on minimum support price (MSP), among various other demands.

The video was initially shared by Gagandeep Singh on his X handle, however, ABP Live could not independently confirm the veracity of the footage. In the clip, the woman is seen giving protesting farmers the middle finger. Then she uses obscene words against the demonstrators, which sparks a confrontation.

The farmers are seen coming at the woman and demanding an explanation for why she was using abusive words. The lady responds by accusing the farmers of harassing her and improperly touching her while she takes out her phone to film recordings.

The video has received flurry of responses on social media. Taking to X, Bollywood actress Richa Chadha stated: "You’re bad. You’re bad. You know it , you know."

Another X user, Meghna Girish stated: "Blocking commuters in the name of farmers protests in wrong and obviously frustrating for people who get stuck But the abusive language and middle finger dance that too with elderly can't be condoned as 'bravery'."

While, some X users came out in support of the girl. One X user called her "brave," while other said: "Well done girl. Just see how this girl faced the protesting goons in the guise of farmers without caring about consequences. She was alone & yet stood tall."

The protesting farmers, largely from Punjab and Haryana, resumed their protest on the fifth day of the 'Delhi Chalo' march, which began on Tuesday. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced that it will step up its agitation in the coming days, as farmers' groups, trade unions, and others marked 'Bharat Bandh' on Friday.
