The Government school headmaster, Abdul Munaf, in Karnataka's Gadag district was heckled on Tuesday for asking students to write an essay on Prophet Muhammed. Sri Ram Sena activists barged into the school in Nagavi village as they accused the headmaster of facilitating religious conversions of students in the school.
Meanwhile, inquiry was ordered into the incident. "I will get complaint copy and information from headmaster and students. I will forward the same to the deputy director of state education department," said the block education officer, as quoted by news agency ANI.
