The Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs in Karnataka and said that they are behaving like goons and they cannot tolerate the appointment of minorities as Speaker and Dalits as Deputy Speakers, as reported by the news agency ANI. Shivakumar further said that the guests who came to the state are going to lead this country and should be treated properly.
“BJP MLAs are behaving like goons. They cannot tolerate the appointment of minorities as Speakers and Dalits as Deputy Speakers. So they are protesting like this. Senior IAS officers give us security. It is our duty to keep them safe in this state. So we made the necessary arrangements,” DK Shivakumar said, as quoted by ANI.
“The guests who came to the state are going to lead this country & should be treated properly,” he added.
