Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao terminated a doctor from service who got his pre-wedding photo-shoot done inside an operation theatre at a Government Hospital in Chitradurga district. 


According to a report on IANS, Rao took to X and said, "Government hospitals are meant for serving the public, not for personal engagements. I will not tolerate such indiscipline."


"All doctors, staff and contract employees will have to discharge their duties as per the guidelines. I have already directed the concerned doctors and authorities not to misuse the premises of government hospitals," Rao added, the report said.














Dinesh Gundu Rao emphasized that he has already directed the relevant medical personnel and staff to exercise caution to prevent incidents of mistreatment in government hospitals. He underscored the importance of all individuals prioritizing their responsibilities, recognizing that the government's resources allocated to these hospitals are intended for the healthcare needs of the general public.

Abhishek, a doctor affiliated with Bharamasagara Government Hospital, recently conducted a pre-wedding photoshoot within the hospital's operation theatre. The pre-wedding photoshoot revolved around a theme related to the medical field featuring scenes depicting various medical procedures inside the operation theatre.


After the images were circulated on social media, it gained widespread attention and elicited criticism from the public. Among the captured moments, one depicted Abhishek as engaged in surgery with his fiancée assisting him in the operation theatre. Notably, Abhishek assumed the role of health officer at the hospital just one month prior to the incident.
