In Bengaluru, two bike-riding criminals shattered the glass of a parked BMW and took Rs 13 lakh cash in broad daylight, news agency ANI reported. A case has been filed by the Bengaluru Police in connection with the incident. A surveillance camera recorded the theft, which occurred on October 20. Babu, a native of Bengaluru's Anekal Taluk, owned the automobile, India Today reported.
The video shows a guy shattering a window and getting entry to a BMW X5 as his buddy waits on a motorbike. They then depart the scene with the money from the car.
The latter glances about and then peeks into the automobile, while the former spins his bike around and looks back at his buddy, ready to leave. The guy discreetly shatters the glass in the driver's side window and climbs inside. He takes a few moments to reach in and collect the cash before walking to the bike — with a bag in his hand — and fleeing the scene with his partner.
Bengaluru police have stated that an investigation is underway and that no arrests have been made. A parked BMW in Bengaluru was stolen in broad daylight. A guy shattered the driver's side window, jumped into the car, stole the money, and left on a bike with a co-conspirator.
In a seperate incident, an Instagram influencer with a wealthy lifestyle was detained earlier this month for allegedly stealing goods worth Rs 24 lakhs from a BMW parked outside Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The stolen items included gold jewellery and diamonds worth around Rs 23 lakhs. Abhimanyu Gupta, a former TikTok celebrity, was apprehended when authorities tracked down the ride and white Yamaha superbike used in the crime. The stolen items were also found.
