Raman Singh inaugurates three KVs, 11 Navodaya Schools in Raipur
Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], October 14 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday inaugurated three Kendriya Vidyalayas and 11 Navodaya schools in Raipur.
He also used the occasion to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his programs and schemes.
While addressing the gathering, Singh said, "The Kendriya Vidyalaya will benefit those residing in Sectors 27 and 28 and also those residing in the nearby areas. The admissions for the academic year 2017-18 for the Classes -1 to V had been completed. There are 40 seats in each class at present. About 1,600 applications had been received for admissions. I owe this inauguration ceremony to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's schemes and programs".
"The district administration has plans to run double sections seeing the demand for admissions. Smart classes will operate in the Kendriya Vidyalas. LED, projectors, CCTV, computers, musical instruments and sports' kits, play grounds and other ultra-modern facilities are available at the school. Cement roads had been laid up to the school," he said.
Further hailing over the development and the city, the Chief Minister said since two years, construction worth Rs. 12 crores has been done in the state capital.
"In view of the number of children, the district administration is also trying to do double section in the school. Until the new building is built, it will be operated in the NRDA building near Rakhi police station. In the last two years, construction worth Rs. 12 crores has been done," he added.
The expedition was chaired by MP of Raipur Lok Sabha constituency Ramesh Bais, Minister of Housing and Environment, Rajesh Murat, School Education, Kedar Kashyap, Minister of Tribal Development and Scheduled Caste, and Dejeebhai Patel, Member of District Mineral Trust, Arang MLA and Member of District Mineral Trust Navin Markandey and Gram Panchayat Rakhi Sarpanch Murari.
