MP shocker: Onlookers shoot video as accident victims cry for help

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 20 (ANI): Political leaders have condemned a disturbing development from Madhya Pradesh, where onlookers kept passing by and shoot videos as a man begged for help to save his wife and child, after they were hit by a truck.

Speaking to ANI, Congress leader Manak Agarwal accused the state government for neglect saying "the Government and the police didn't do anything for a whole day, but took action only after a buzz was created on social media."

"It seems that there is no humanity left. And it also seems that there is no government as well as dial 100 service in Madhya Pradesh," he added.

Speaking to ANI on the same issue, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vishwas Sarang, said that people should be more sensitive and should not forget humanity.

He further said that if the incident happens, tatkal services should be provided with them.

"The whole society should sit here and talk about this. We are so engrossed in our day to day life that there is so humanity left. And I believe that if in situations like these the world stands together, such accidents won't take place," he said.

The accident happened when a family, which was on their way to a relative's house, was crushed by a truck. The wife and a five-year-old child were declared brought dead at the hospital.

The husband kept crying on the road asking for help as onlookers shot videos and nobody came forward to help them.(ANI)
