Konkan Railway signs MoU with EPIL; eyes infrastructure boost

Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Nov 27 (ANI): In a bid to increase its resource base to take up major infrastructure works in India and abroad, the Konkan Railway on Monday inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. (EPIL).

Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. (EPIL) is a Public Sector Understanding under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India.

The MoU was signed by Amitabh Banerjee, Director Finance of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL) and Vinoo Gopal, Director Projects of EPIL at the Corporate office of KRCL in Navi Mumbai.

The MoU has come into existence with the intention of gaining synergy by combining the expertise and resources of both the Central Public Sector Enterprises. (ANI)
