J-K: Terrorists attack BSF camp, one Fidayeen killed, three BSF troopers injured

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], October 3 (ANI): One Fidayeen was killed and three security personnel got injured after a group of terrorists attacked at the Border Security Force (BSF) camp of 182 Battalion, headquartered near the Srinagar Airport outside the Airforce station at Gogoland in Srinagar, on early Tuesday morning (at 4:15 a.m.).

"A group of two or three militants carried attack on BSF camp of 182 Bn BSF HQ near airport Srinagar, Budgam district," the BSF Control Room said, in a statement.

According to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Srinagar Airport has been shut down due to ongoing encounter.

No flight operation will be underway till the security clearance and the airport is under the CRPF security.

In view of terrorist attack on the BSF camp in Srinagar, Kashmir Valley School, which is in vicinity of the area, will remain closed.

The encounter is still underway.
