Goa: Leader of Opp. Chandrakant Kavlekar booked by ACB in DA case

Panaji (Goa) [India], Sept. 16 (ANI): The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday filed an FIR against Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar in disproportionate assets case.

In 2012, Goa Police had filed a case against Kavlekar under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act.

Kavlekar is a three term member of the Goa Legislative Assembly and represents the Quepem constituency.

He was the chairman of the Goa industrial development corporation (GIDC).(ANI)
