Premises of the India Trade Promotion Organisation got a swanky makeover ahead of its inauguration on July 26. The premises have been revamped with world-class interiors which will host the G20 leaders meet in September this year. The ITPO complex is also known as the Pragati Maidan complex and it has a campus area of approximately 123 acres and is India's largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.

The Level-3 of the Convention Centre holds a grand seating capacity for 7,000 people, which is more than the seating capacity for approximately 5,500 in the iconic Sydney Opera House in Australia.

When it comes to covered space available for events, the redeveloped complex finds its name among the top 10 exhibition and convention complexes in the world. It stands in the list against rival colossal names such as the Hannover Exhibition Centre in Germany, and the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC) in Shanghai, as per a PTI report.

Officials noted that exhibition halls provide seven innovative spaces to showcase products, innovations, and ideas. These state-of-the-art halls provide an ideal platform for exhibitors as well as companies to engage with their target audience, fostering business growth and networking opportunities.

Apart from all this, it also has a magnificent amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 3,000 individuals. It sets the stage for captivating performances, cultural shows, and entertainment events.

As per the sources, IECC has paid a special focus to the convenience of visitors which is evident if we look at the provision of over 5,500 vehicle parking spaces. The ease of access through signal-free roads ensures that visitors can reach the venue without any hassle, as reported by PTI.
