Every American Will Get Covid-19 Vaccine By April 2021 Says US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump has said that vaccine trials in country are in the final stage and that every American will get the vaccine by April 2021.

New Delhi: Even while the trials of Covid-19 vaccine are ongoing, US President Donald Trump has said that the US will produce enough coronavirus vaccine doses for "every American" by April 2021. During a press conference on Friday, he said the ‘country will have at least 100 million doses of vaccine by the end of the year, or "likely much more than that." "As soon as the vaccine is approved, the administration will deliver it to American people immediately. Hundreds of millions of doses will be available every month and we expect to have enough vaccines for every American by April," said Trump. He also said that 'brilliant doctors and scientists' are working on the vaccine and said that the vaccine trials are in teh final stage. "The vaccine should be developed as soon as possible to end the pandemic and get life back to normal. A successful vaccine will not only save millions of lives, it will end restrictions," said Trump. He added, "All vaccines are going through the gold standard of clinical trials with a heavy emphasis on safety." The president had earlier said that Covid 19 the vaccine could be ready within a month. During a town hall question-and-answer session with voters in Pennsylvania which aired on ABC News Trump said “We’re very close to having a vaccine,” a report by Agence France-Presse said. “We’re within weeks of getting it you know -- could be three weeks, four weeks,” he said. There is fear that rump is putting pressure on the scientists and government health regulators to approve a vaccine to improve his bid to be reelected in the November elections. Experts including top US government infectious diseases doctor Anthony Fauci say vaccine approval is more likely toward the end of the year.
