New Delhi: Delhi recorded 1,422 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases to 5,939 reported news agency ANI. In the same time, the national capital reported zero deaths and 1,438 recoveries. 


The cumulative positivity rate in Delhi was reported to be at 4.98 percent. 


Number of fresh infections in the national capital has slightly increased from Saturday when 1,407 fresh cases were reported. The positivity rate, too, has upticked from 4.72 percent on Saturday to 4.98 percent on Sunday. Although as against two fatalities on Saturday, no deaths were reported on Sunday. 


 






Meanwhile on Sunday, the countrywide Covid-19 tally also increased in the last 24 hours by 332 cases than Saturday. 3,451 fresh cases were reported in India on Sunday in the last 24 hours with 3,079 recoveries and 40 deaths. Nation’s infection tally rose to 4,31,02,194, while the active cases have risen to 20,303.


Whereas on Saturday, India had reported 3,805 new cases of Covid-19 with 3,168 recoveries and 22 deaths.

Over 190.20 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, as per the data by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
