New Delhi: India reported 2,85,914 fresh Covid cases on Tuesday. This is 11.74 percent higher than the number of fresh Covid-19 cases reported in the last tally.
The daily positivity rate currently stands at 16.16 percent, while the weekly positivity rate of Covid-19 currently stands at 17.33 percent. India's active caseload currently stands at 22,23,018.
As many as 2,99,073 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This brings the total number of recoveries in India to 3,73,70,971. India's current recovery rate is 93.23 percent.
As many as 1,63,63,18,725 Crore vaccine doses have been provided so far to states and Union Territories (UTs). Also, 72.05 crore Covid-19 tests have been conducted so far. The number of tests conducted in the last 24 hours is 17,69,745.
Over 13.60 crore doses are still available with states and UTs to be administered, according to an update by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
A total of 1,63,58,44,536 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
As per provisional reports till 7 am today, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 163.58 Cr, with the administration of 59,50,731 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours.
