Marvel’s Spider-Man, back when it came out in 2018, delighted fans with its exciting web-swinging mechanics, emotionally charged story, and a plethora of suits and powerups that for a change were not locked behind obscene paywalls. In 2020, developer Insomniac followed it up with Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which was noticeably shorter in length but was a great showcase of the franchise’s next-gen capabilities on the PlayStation 5. Well, it’s time for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to swing into your PS5 consoles and here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is set to release on October 20.
Spider-Man 2: Platforms
For now, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is only available on the PS5. However, since the first Spider-Man game got a PC release earlier, it could be expected that the sequel could make its way to PCs soon, in about a year or so.
Spider-Man 2: Editions, Pre-Order Bonuses
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available in two editions — Standard and Digital Deluxe.
The Standard version will only offer the base game and nothing else.
The Digital Deluxe variant, on the other hand, will offer the base game, five unique suits for Peter Parker, five unique suits for Miles Morales, additional Photo Mode items, two skill points, and pre-order bonuses.
Speaking of pre-order bonuses, whoever purchases the game before release will be rewarded with early unlocks for two suits (one each for Peter and Miles) as well as an early unlock for the Web Grabber gadget. Buyers will also get three skill points.
Spider-Man 2: Price
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Standard edition is priced at Rs 4,999. The Digital Deluxe edition is priced at Rs 5,599.

The combat dynamic takes a fresh turn as players harness the symbiote abilities of Peter and the explosive bio-electric powers of Miles to confront an assemblage of both familiar and original Marvel Super Villains. This roster includes an inventive iteration of the symbiote-infused Venom, the relentless Kraven the Hunter, the unpredictable Lizard, and other notorious figures from the annals of the Marvel Rogues' Gallery.
Alongside controlling two Spider-Men (who can be switched between instantly), the game will offer players a chance to explore exquisitely rendered, vibrant locales, featuring the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, alongside iconic sites such as Coney Island.
