New Delhi: Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was cast in the series 'Citadel', has withdrawn from the production due to health issues, according to prior reports. The actor's health was allegedly thought to be having an effect on her filming commitments.
This time, the rumour mills said that Samantha had dropped out of 'Citadel', an original spy series starring Varun Dhawan and produced by Raj and DK. There have also been specualtions that she may be replaced in her next projects because of a long time off she will be taking from work owing to her autoimmune disorder, Myositis.
According to a new report, Samantha is still a part of the show, and everything else is "rubbish."
"Anything and everything is written about her being replaced in Citadel is rubbish. She will begin the shoot in the second half of January," a source recently told Pinkvilla.
The actor posted a lovely selfie and encouraging words on Instagram to start off 2023 on a more positive note. "Function forward…Control what we can!! Guess it’s time for newer and easier resolutions.. ones that are kinder and gentler on ourselves. God bless. Happy 2023!!" she wrote.
Samantha also posted the poster for her upcoming movie, 'Shaakuntalam', which will be released in theatres on February 17th. Her work schedules undoubtedly seems to be on track.
With her most recent release, 'Yashoda', a thriller that was solely led by her, Samantha Ruth Prabhu garnered strong box office results and a deluge of positive reviews.
