New Delhi: The OTT market has only been escalating ever since the pandemic started. 2022 was a big year in regards to release of shows on OTT platforms and more milestones were reached with shows like’ Wednesday’, ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Delhi Crime’, ‘Panchayat’ etc. As the new year begins, there is an exciting lineup of projects which are set to release in 2023 that everyone should keep an eye out for.


1. Mirzapur 3


After more than two years of waiting since the last season of the show, ‘Mirzapur 3’ is set to air this year although the date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Actor Ali Fazal confirmed the wrapping up of season 3 last month stirring up even more anticipation within fans. The story revolves around Kaleen Bhaiya fighting against Pandit brothers, Guddu and Bablu. This fight impacts the business and politics of Mirzapur.



2. Ginny and Georgia Season 2


Only a couple of days for Ginny and Georgia to make a comeback! Season 2 of the show starts streaming on Netflix from the 5th of January. The new season picks up from exactly where the last season ended, as Ginny finds out about her mother killing her ex-husband and leaves with her brother, while Georgia is in oblivion of her daughter getting to know about this secret.

3. Farzi


Shahid Kapoor’s OTT debut is all set to happen this year with the release of ‘Farzi,’ which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna. The plotline is about a small-time actor who hatches high-stake cons, and an officer who would go to any lengths to stop him. This thriller will definitely keep you on the edge of your seats.


4. You Season 4


The fourth season of American psychological thriller, ‘You,’ is making its much awaited comeback on February 9. Part 2 of the season will air one month later, in March. This new season is based in London, as Joe sets on new exploits with his new disguise. 



5. Guns & Gulaabs


An amalgamation of thriller and comedy, starring Rajkummar Rao and Dulquar Salmaan, ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ captures love and innocence in a criminal world. With a unique blend of the 90’s, the web series is set to release in February and has already gathered a lot of hype. 



6. The Mandalorian Season 3


The Star Wars universe is coming back with another season of ‘The Mandalorian’ in February! The trailers reveal travel to Mandalore, following the events of The Book of Boba Fett with the Mandalorian along with Grogu by his side.



7. Shark Tank India Season 2


With 'Season 1' instantly becoming a hit after its release, the start-up centric show is making a comeback with another season starting from today, January 2! Negotiations and debates become more intense, competition increases and the atmosphere becomes more heated as aspirational entrepreneurs pitch their business models to a panel of investors and try persuading them into investing in it.



8. The Family Man Season 3


Manoj Bajpayee starrer, the previous season ended on a cliffhanger and fans have since been waiting for answers. The wait is finally over and season 3 of ‘The Family Man’ is all set to air this year, even though the date hasn’t been finalised yet! The story is about a middle-class family man, Srikant Tiwari, who also happens to be a world-class spy. The new season is set during the pandemic times and Tiwari sets out on new missions tackling Chinese troops.


9. Copenhagen Cowboy 


Fans of thriller series are going to have the time of their lives watching ‘Copenhagen Cowboy,’ which is set to release on January 5. Miu, played by Angela Bundalovic, sets on a mission of vengeance against her nemesis, Rakel, in the criminal underworld of Copenhagen.



10. Made in Heaven


After the immense popularity of its first season, the second season of the hit Zoya Akhtar show is anticipated to air this year after its shooting being postponed several times. The show follows two wedding planners who try to incorporate traditionalism with modernism against the backdrop of big fat Indian weddings.
