The third season of Broken But Beautiful has released today and expectedly, it has worked for those who have been a loyal fans of the franchise that has been put together by Ekta Kapoor for ALT Balaji. This time around, she has MX Player as the streaming partner as well in addition to ALT Balaji and that has added on to the reach of the web series.
Promo of the Siddharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee starrer had promised a good dramatic romantic entertainer with the scale and set up going up as well. That is indeed the case as from a web series perspective, it does come across as a classy affair. Meanwhile, the storyline of Broken But Beautiful follows the kind of pattern which is associated with the franchise and hence as a viewer you do get to see what you had signed up for. Performances in the show are mature and with this being one of the rare romantic entertainers playing on OTT, it does work well.

The wait is finally over as after much anticipation, the second season of The Family Man would be out on Amazon Prime this Friday. By all means, this Raj & DK creation is one of the most anticipated by audiences not just in India but also in several other countries where Indians live, and that makes it a truly global affair. The first season of this espionage thriller with a family angle to it was much loved and with Priyamani returning as Manoj Bajpayee's wife and Sharib Hashmi as his regular counterpart, expect a lot of fun element this time around as well.
Manoj Bajpayee has been one of the most consistent actors around who changes himself remarkably in every outing of his. This was seen a few weeks back with Silence... Can You Hear It? and now if the promo of The Family Man 2 is any indication then he is continuing his superb form in this Suparn Verma directed thriller as well. Laced with humor in the narrative, this thriller has found itself in the eye of a storm but fortunately has been able to navigate well right through it. As a result, it is now being spoken about for all the right reasons.
Meanwhile, there is further star-power added to this well mounted web series, what with Samantha Akkineni stepping in as a key character. The fact that the web series is yet again based in South, it only makes sense to have Samantha enacting a character from the region. With Manoj Bajpayee leading the show and Samantha bringing further weight to the proceedings, The Family Man 2 does have a lot going for it. Though last few months have seen quite a few web series releasing in 2021, expect all eyes on The Family Man 2 once it begins to stream.
