New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor recently made his OTT debut with 'Farzi'. Social media users have been giving the crime series that Raj and DK produced and released on Prime Video positive reviews. Many people praised Shahid, Vijay Sethupathi, and even that well-liked spy from Raj and DK's other smash success on Prime Video, The Family Man, on Twitter.

In the series 'Farzi', Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Sandeep, a gifted painter who starts creating fake money to keep his grandfather's magazine business afloat. But he soon starts living a life of crime in earnest, unable to resist the luxury it offers. Vijay Sethupathi's cop Michael, who is fighting against counterfeit money in India, is right behind him.

On Twitter, viewers have been expressing their thoughts about the show, with many claiming that it was Shahid's perfect debut. Here is what they have to say about it.

Several characters from The Family Man were also revived for the show. Megha, played by Rashi Khanna, first brought Inspector Shinde with her when she went on her raids on printing presses, and Chellam Sir later made a brief appearance. Srikanth, played by Manoj Bajpayee, has a quick chat with Michael about the picture. Fans are wishing that Michael will appear in Season 3 of Family Man after all these appearances.

Along with Shahid Kapoor, 'Farzi' features an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Amol Palekar in pivotal roles.

Produced by D2R Films, the series will stream in India and across 240 countries and territories starting February 10 on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
