Mumbai: Critically acclaimed filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who has directed films like 'Bareily Ki Barfi' and 'Panga', will soon make her debut in the OTT space. She is all set to helm a documentary on Indian Tennis players Mahesh Bhupati and Leander Paes, titled 'Break Point'. Tiwari is on a roll as her debut novel 'Mapping Love' will hit the bookstores next month. 


The talented director, who has always offered something new on the platter, will treat the audience with different content across formats. 


 "It is a very exciting time for Ashwiny, as two of her very cherished works are going to be put out for the audiences soon. She had been working on 'Mapping Love' since the last 3 years, and now it is finally going to hit the stands on August 1. BREAKPOINT is also another project, that Ashwiny is really close to, which was announced 2 days back," a source said.


Ashwiny is also busy working on a project based on the life story of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy. "Ashwiny is also currently working on the life story of Mr. Narayana Murthy and Mrs. Sudha Murthy, which will go on floors by end of the year," the source added.



Ashwiny had shared a photo with Bhupathi and Paes to announce her project on social media. She wrote, "I'm honored and filled with immense gratitude to play my part in bringing this incredible story of legendary pair of @leanderpaes and @mbhupathi to the world along with @niteshtiwari22 on #ZEE5."



The advertiser-turned-filmmaker will dabble into multiple formats simultaneously. She will display her talent on-screen with ZEE5's 'Break Point', 'Faadu' on Sony Liv. Tiwari will also showcase her magic through words in 'Mapping Love'.
