New Delhi: Actors Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri have begun the shooting of their untitled film, produced by filmmaker Karan Johar, on the auspicious occassion of Maha Shivratri. The film is a romantic-comedy directed by Anand Tiwari, who has to his credit the 2018 romcom 'Love Per Square Foot', starring Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar.


A source close to the development informed Pinkvilla, "Vicky and Triptii will be shooting at a Mumbai studio for a month, after which they will head to Delhi and a few other locations in North India. However, the makers will do one final recce there before they roll with their second schedule. The film also features Ammy Virk in a pivotal role. It’s an extremely entertaining and unique script, but also has an important message for the audience. The team did a few readings before they started shooting for the film."


Vicky and Tripti's fresh pairing and on-screen chemistry will be worth a watch. 


On the work front, both the actors have an interesting line-up of films. 


Vicky Kaushal recently wrapped up the shooting of his untitled film with Sara Ali Khan, directed by Laxman Utekar. He will also be seen in Shashank Khaitan's 'Govinda Mera Naam', opposite Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.



Vicky will also star in 'Sam Bahadur'. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh. The 'URI' actor has been roped in by Aditya Dhar for 'The Immortal Ahwathamma'.


On the other hand, Tripti Dimri, who rose to fame post her film 'Bulbbul', that released on the OTT platform Netflix, will be seen in another Dharma Productions' film opposite Ishaan Khatter. She also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' and another project by Anushka Sharma productions' 'Qala' opposite Babil Khan, in the pipeline.
