New Delhi: Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela are in Dubai. The couple was there in Dubai to celebrate her Upasana's baby shower with close friends and family. On Wednesday, Upasana shared a video montage from the white-themed baby shower. Earlier, Upasana and Ram Charan were in the USA during the promotional tour for 'RRR' after it was nominated for the Oscars.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Upasana shared a video montage showing a family and friends filled baby shower. Everyone seemed to be really happy for Upasana. There was also a glimpse of a three-tier white cake decorated with brown teddy bears and iced with beige and brown balls. It had 'because we love you' written on it. Besides many family photos and pictures of Ram and Upasana, she also shared pictures of the decor.
Upasana and Ram Charan complimented each other's outfits dressed in white. While Upasana wore a white dress, Ram was seen dressed in a white shirt and a pair of white pants. Ram and Upasana posed on the beach giving out romantic vibes.
Upasana and Ram Charan celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last year. Last year in December, Upasana and Ram's families announced their kids' pregnancy.
Earlier, in an interview with the Humans of Bombay, Upasana opened up about why she waited a decade to get pregnant when most people have babies early on in their marriage.
“I am very, very excited and also very proud that I chose to become a mother when we wanted to, not when society wanted to. So, 10 years after our marriage, we have taken a call to have a kid now and I think it’s the best time because both of us are booming, both of us are financially secure and we can take care of our kids by ourselves."
"It was our mutual decision. As a couple, we didn’t let pressure hit us, whether it is from the society outside, our family or outsiders. Which says a lot about our relationship and how we are going to bring up our child as well," she added.
