'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', featuring Shaheer Sheikh & Rhea Sharma in lead roles, is only a few days away from its premiere. As reported earlier, various actors from Shivangi Joshi & Moshin Khan's 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' including Lataa Saberwal,  Sanjeev Seth, Pooja Joshi among others will be a part of its spin-off as well. Whereas, actor Samir Sharma has been roped in to play Akshara's brother 'Shaurya' in the upcoming Star Plus show. As per latest buzz, another talented actor has joined the cast of 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke'.

According to latest reports, the makers have finalized actor Jay Pathak to play the role of Rhea Sharma aka Mishti's father Naman in the spin-off.

However, the actor & the makers are yet to react on the same.

For the uninitiated, actor Anshul Pandey played the role of Naitik's step-brother Naman in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Initially, Naman's character was shown positive in 'Yeh Rishta...' but later his character turned negative. It'll be interesting to see how the makers will use Naman's character in the spin-off 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke'.

Much-awaited 'Yeh Rishta...' spin-off is set to premiere on 18th March and will take the time slot of Nakuul Mehta's 'Ishqbaaaz' which will bid goodbye to the viewers on 15th March.

Coming back to Jay Pathak, the actor has been a part of entertainment industry since a long time and has featured in various TV shows.
