The makers of the show have introduced a big twist as part of the latest track. Shivangi Joshi, who plays the role of Naira, will be seen in a double role. The talented actress will also essay the role of Naira’s twin sister Tina. The character of Naira will fight against all odds to save Goenka family.

According to a report in an entertainment portal, a newbie actor will soon enter ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.

Newcomer Jaydeep Ashra will play Tina’s (Shivangi Joshi) love interest in the show. The actor has been part of the Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, Ahmedabad, the report in IWMBuzz said.

Jaydeep will essay the role of Alka Kaushik’s son, who will fall in love with the modern and free-spirited Tina. It will be interesting to see the equation between Tina and the new guy.

Speculations were rife that Tanmay Rishi Shah, who plays the role of Shivangi and Mohsin’s on-screen son Kairav, will get replaced. Children below the age of 10 are not supposed to shoot as per the guidelines issued by the government. The makers of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ and ‘Pavitra Bhagya’ have already replaced their child artists in the show.
