'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' Actress Mohena Kumari Singh Returns Home Despite Being COVID-19 Positive

Mohena Kumari Singh and her family members have returned to their home despite being COVID-19 positive. She was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Rishikesh.

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Mohena Kumari Singh, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, has returned home. The actress, known for playing the role of Keerti in Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, was undergoing treatment along with her family members at a hospital in Rishikesh. She took to her Instagram story to inform her fans that she has returned to her place but she is still COVID-19 positive.

Mohena said that her family members are still Coronavirus positive and they are living in complete isolation. The talented actress added that she, her husband and in-laws underwent treatment at the hospital for ten days.

Mohena further said that her family members are feeling better now and will follow ‘extremely strict’ rules during isolation. She also thanked her fans for their love and support.

"Hi everyone ! I’m back home... but we are still covid-19 positive. We are in complete isolation. We don’t know how long it will take to get the negative test. We were in the hospital for 10 days and I probably had the virus in my body 5 days before that... so hopefully a few more days and We will hopefully beat the virus. But till then we have to follow extremely strict rules. Nonetheless We are all feeling much better health wise and in the mind too. Thanks for all the support once again," Mohena wrote.

Mohena got emotional while interacting with her ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ co-star Gaurav Wadhwa in an Instagram live session. She broke down into tears while sharing her experience in the hospital. Nidhi Uttam, Gaurav Wadhwa, Kruti Mahesh, Harshit Raj Chauhan and Mohit Pathak made a special video to cheer the actress.

“Thank You so much guys.... watch till the end ♥ This video has been in my gallery since 2 days... I guess I am now embarrassed with all the wishes and love you all are sending me... coz I don’t think I deserve it. But that does not change the fact that I appreciate and love you guys so much and am grateful to god for sending me angels like you all,” Mohena wrote while sharing the video.

Mohena Kumari got married to Suyesh Rawat in a grand ceremony in Haridwar in the presence of their family members and friends. She shifted base to Dehradun post her wedding.

Suyesh is the son of Satpal Maharaj, who is the tourism, cultural and irrigation minister of Uttarakhand.

Mohena is still fondly known for her role of Keerti in Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan starrer ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She quit the popular daily soap in June 2019.
