'Comedy Circus' helmer Vipul D Shah is all set for his next fiction show titled 'Super Sister'. As reported earlier TV actress Vaishali Takkar, who was last seen playing the role of 'Anjali' in 'Sasural Simar Ka', has bagged the lead role in the upcoming TV show. Now according to latest reports, the makers have also finalized the leading actor opposite Vaishali. And he is none other than TV actor Gaurav Wadhwa.

According to an entertainment portal,  Gaurav Wadhwa who was recently seen as 'Shubham' in top-rated 'Star Plus' show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is the male lead of 'Super Sister'.

A source told an entertainment portal that, "Gaurav's character is quite an interesting one. He plays a stinking rich guy with a golden heart. He loves playing the good Samaritan. He is also extremely religious and is always ready to go out of his way to help those in distress."

Gaurav has not yet reacted on the same. But if this is true then, 'Super Sister' will be his first show in a lead role.

Speaking further about the show, a source told TOI that, "The story revolves around two sister and it is being told from the younger sister's perspective. She feels that her elder sister is her super sister. Vaishali plays the elder sister, who is blessed with magical powers."

For the uninitiated, Vaishali too was a part of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' in which she played the role of Naksh's (Rohan Mehra) friend 'Sanju'. 'Yeh Rishta...' was her debut show after which she went on to do shows like 'Yeh Vaada Raha', 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' and 'Sasural Simar Ka'.

Whereas, Gaurav made his TV debut as a contestant in 'Dance India Dance 4'. He first acted in 'Fear Files' & later became a part of shows like 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', 'Thapki Pyar Ki' and his character of 'Shubham' in 'Yeh Rishta...' was loved by the viewers.
