TV actor Karan patel, who became a household name after playing the lead role of 'Raman Bhalla' in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' co-starring Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya', is on cloud nine these days. Karan Patel's actress-wife Ankita Bhargava gave birth to their first child on December 14. New parents Karan-Ankita have welcomed a baby girl and the TV couple is currently busy spending time with their little munchkin. Karan & Ankita, who exchanged wedding vows  in 2015, have finally named their darling daughter 'Mehr'.


Vikaas Kalantri's wife Priyanka Kalantri, who was seen in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', has recently revealed the name of Karan & Ankita's newborn baby girl on social media. Vikas & Priyanka recently visited Karan-Akita's house to meet their little princess and shared a picture on social media. In the picture, Priyanka-Vikaas are seen posing wih new daddy Karan Patel.

Revealing the name of Karan-Ankita's little angel in her Instagram spot, Priyanka wrote, "Congratulations to the new Mommy @ankzbhargava and Daddy @karan9198..Mehr is such an ... You guys make a lovely family...Love you guys"

For the uninitiated, Karan and Ankita were set to become parents last year and they announced the good news in full filmy style. However, Ankita unfortunately suffered a miscarriage.

On the career front, Karan's long-running Star Plus show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is finally ending this month after a long run of six year. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, 'YHM' is set to go off air tomorrow (December 18). 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' spin-off titled 'Yeh Hai Chahatein', featuring Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra, will be replacing Karan-Diyanka's show from December 19.

Also, Karan will next be seen in Colors TV's stunt-based reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 10'. Hosted by Rohit Shetty, 'KKK 10' is expected to hit the TV screens in February next year after the culmination of 'Bigg Boss 13' hosted by 'Dabangg 3' star Salman Khan.
