Yay! 'Saathiya' couple Devoleena & Nazim to be seen together in THIS show

‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, which aired on Star Plus for seven long years, was one of the most loved shows on Indian television. The daily soap from the stable of Rashmi Sharma Productions made Devoleena Bhattacharjee (Gopi Bahu) and Mohammad Nazim (Ahem Modi) household names. The two actors reached newer heights of popularity, all thanks to their stint in ‘Saathiya’. Devoleena and Nazim have been missing from the small screen for quite some time and fans have been eagerly waiting to see them together in a new time. It seems the wait if finally over as the reel-life jodi would soon be seen together in a recently launched show on & TV. Devoleena and Nazim will be part of supernatural romantic series ‘Laal Ishq’, a report in an entertainment portal suggested. Producer Prateek Sharma, who produced the Namik Paul, Donal Bisht and Vikram Singh Chauhan starrer ‘Ek Deewana Tha’, is producing a new episodic for Laal Ishq and he has roped in the Saathiya jodi for the upcoming episode, as per the report in Tellychakkar. Interestingly, the story is said to be based in West Bengal in the 1950s. Devoleena will portray the role of a Bengali, while Nazim will be seen as a Punjabi in the episode, the report added. Speculations are rife that Devoleena will also be seen as the female lead in Colors TV’s upcoming show ‘Kuch Naye Rishte’. A previous report in the portal said that the actress has already shot for the pilot episode in  Mira Road, Mumbai. Nazim is also said to be part of a show which is based on the life of legendary wrestler, Gama Pehalwan. The actor will reportedly play the role of Gama’s brother in the show which is slated to air on Star Plus. So, are you excited to see your Ahem and Gopi together in a new show?
