In the on-going pride month, Vikas took an opportunity and opened about his sexuality and to make it public that he is "bisexual".
On Saturday, Vikas, took to his Twitter account to share his photos and wrote: "Hi Just wanted to let you know a tiny detail about me. I fall in love with the human regardless of their gender. There r more like me. With #Pride I am Bisexual #VikasGupta PS No more being blackmailed or bullied #priyanksharma #ParthSamthaan ThankU for forcing me to come out Smiling face with smiling eyes (sic)"
He also took to his Instagram account and shared a detailed video of 53 minutes, where he spoke about how he receives hate comments from people. Vikas Gupta admitted that he is very emotional and the people who write negatively about you, are the ones who know you because fans won't stoop so down.
Vikas said that he was no longer going to be ashamed of his sexuality. “It is pride month and with pride, I am saying that this is how I am and this is how I am going to be living my life openly. I will fall in love with a person, a human being. It could be a boy or a girl, that is not for you to decide or comment on. It is for me to decide,” he said.
In his caption, Vikas wrote that he “will not be shamed, bullied or blackmailed for what God has made me”. He opened up on the ‘years of torture and humiliation and hiding my emotions’ and said that his family cut off all ties with him.
In the video, Vikas also addressed the accusations made by Parth and Priyank. He shared that Parth said he wasn’t molested but was inappropriately physically touched by Vikas. He also stated how Priyank stayed in Vikas’ house for 1.5 years after which the two also went on to Bigg Boss. Further denying casting couch allegations levelled against him, Vikas said, “I would like to tell you, Parth and Priyank have never been forcefully touched or done things because both don’t mind being touched by boys.”
Vikas revealed that his first real relationship was with Parth Samthaan for almost 2 years, after which Parth ended up filing cases against him, and the rumours began. He later came to Vikas after 3 years and he forgave him, and never publicly said they were in a relationship with him so that Parth’s career doesn’t get affected.
As for Priyank, Vikas said, "Priyank Sharma was the boy I was in a relationship with. I and Priyank started out as really good friends but then it turned into something else. Priyank is a very complex and confused child."
In an emotional post, Vikas also said that his mother and siblings no longer talk to him. “As for my mom , I love you even if you don’t love me anymore. My siblings who I have brought so much shame to, seeing you makes me swell with pride and my friends who don’t find me kool anymore thankyou for being good to me when ever you were,” he wrote.
Neither Priyank nor Parth has so far reacted to Vikas' allegations.
