New Delhi: Veteran actress Madhavi Gogate, who worked in Hindi TV shows and Marathi films, passed away on Sunday (November 21). She was 58.
Popular TV actress Rupali Ganguly, who played Madhavi's on-screen daughter in 'Anupamaa', took to social media to inform the fans about her demise. She expressed grief over Madhavi's death while sharing a post on her Instagram story.

Mehul Nisar, who played the role of Gogate's son in 'Anupamaa', also mourned her demise. He shared a picture with the late actress along with the caption, "Shocked..! Numb..! Unbelievable..! Madhaviji has left us."
Several celebs including Sheela Sharma, Delnaaz Irani, Yesha Rughani, Rushad Rana, Aashish Mehrotra dropped comments on the post and offered their condolence. Sheela Sharma wrote, "Oh dear so sorry to hear this God Almighty rest her departed soul in Peace."
According to a report in Times Of India, Madhavi was admitted to a hospital. She left for her heavenly abode on Sunday afternoon after her condition deteriorated.
The talented artist became a household name with her role of Dhana in the Marathi film 'Ghanchakkar'. She also worked in hit TV shows like 'Kahiin Toh Hoga', 'Koi Apna Sa'.
