Twenty-Five Twenty-One Star Nam Joo-hyuk To Enlist In The Military In March, Actor’s Agency Confirms

Nam Joo-hyuk's agency SOOP revealed the actor's enlistment date on Tuesday.

New Delhi: The 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' actor Nam Joo-hyuk will enlist in the South Korean military in March. According to a recent report, Joo-hyuk's agency SOOP revealed the actor's enlistment date on Tuesday.

The actor reportedly submitted an application to The Capital Defence Command Military Police Group in May of last year. According to the media outlet Soompi, Management SOOP stated,“It is true that Nam Joo-hyuk was accepted into the military police force. He will be enlisting in the police squad on March 20.”

Joo-hyuk will undergo five weeks of basic military training at the army training centre after joining the army. After that, he will be sent to his station.

The actor's fans tweeted their reactions to the news and expressed how much they will miss him.

The actor's expected military enlistment in December 2022 was first announced on October 17 of the previous year. He did not receive a formal summons for enlisting in December, according to his agency, which later confirmed this. Prior to his selection notice, Joo-hyuk finished filming for 'Vigilante', according to Management SOOP.

Nam Joo-hyuk most recently starred in the 2022 release 'Remember'. It was released on October 26 and also features Lee Sung Min. The central character of the tale is an elderly man with Alzheimer's who lost his family as a result of the Japanese invasion of Korea. A 20-year-old man comes to his rescue as he tries to carry out his lifelong vengeance before his memories vanish.

With 'The Idle Mermaid', Joo-hyuk made his acting debut in 2014. The television series 'Who Are You: School 2015', in which he had a prominent role, helped him gain popularity.
