Popular television actress Sara Afreen Khan, who has been part of hit shows like Jamai Raja, Siya Ke Ram, Love Ka Hai Intezaar and Dilli Wali Thakur Girls is pregnant with her first child, ten years after her wedding.

Sara got married to life coach Arfeen Khan in 2009. And the soon-to-be parents are now eagerly waiting for arrival of their bundle of joy.

She is best known for her role as Alka Tiwari in STAR One's hit serial Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein and as Maharani Vijayalakshmi Ranawat in Sanjeeda Shaikh starrer Love Ka Hai Intezaar on Star Plus.

Confirming the good news while talking to The Times Of India, Sara said, "The baby is due on July 8 and we are super excited. It doesn't matter if it's a girl or a boy. We are grateful to God for this beautiful gift, which has already changed our lives. It's a very personal matter and I had only shared it with very close friends and family. Besides, I have been in London since February."

The mommy-to-be also confessed that it took her a few months to acknowledge that a baby was on the way. She shares, “For the first few months, it was not sinking in that I’m going to be a mother. But now, it’s finally sunk in, especially when I feel the baby move constantly. Nothing can match up to the feeling of my baby moving in my womb.”"I think that names are the hardest to finalise. We are still working on it." she said.

And while Sara and her hubby just can't wait for the little one to be born, the couple is still struggling with finalising a name. “I think that names are the hardest to finalise. We are still working on it.”
