According to an entertainment portal, “Rajshree is now gearing up on being a mother in real life after she delivered a baby girl on August 2. Not many knew about Rajshri's pregnancy and that is how she and her husband Sanjyot Vaidya wanted it to be.”
Rajshree Thakur rose to fame after playing Saloni in Zee TV's Saat Phere. She was last seen in Sony TV's Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap, where she played Maharana Pratap's (Faisal Khan) mother.

The TOI report further states that, "Now that they are parents, they both sounded happy to announce the arrival of the little one. The couple is still to decide a suitable name for the baby."
Rajshree got married to her childhood friend Sanjot Vaidya in year 2007 and this is their first child.
