New Delhi: Actor Tunisha Sharma died by suicide on December 24, 2022, shocking fans and the whole entertainment industry. The 20-year-old actor from the television series 'Ali Baba', who was filming for it, was discovered hanging in the washroom of the serial set.

Now, in an interview with ABP News, Tunisha Sharma's maternal uncle Pawan Sharma asserted that his niece was murdered and she did not die by suicide. Furthermore, he insisted that the probe be conducted from a murder viewpoint rather than a suicide angle.

According to Pawan Sharma, an encouraging quote that read, "Those who are driven by their passion don’t stop”, was apparently posted by Tunisha on her Instagram just before the alleged suicide.

Speaking of the late actor, Sharma commended her for being courageous and sweet.

As per Pawan Sharma, it is impossible for someone to die by suicide if they express such motivation. Then, he continued, insisting that it was murder and not a suicide. Additionally, Tunisha's uncle stated that he urges the police and the government to treat this as a murder case and conduct an investigation.

Shezaan Khan, a co-star and former boyfriend of the actor has been arrested on suspicion of aiding suicide. He is one of the 22 people whose statements are said to have been recorded by police who are investigating the case. Sheezan was arrested and charged with violating Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

Khan's custody was extended by a Vasai court by two days, and according to reports, he would remain in police custody until December 30. Upon receiving a complaint from Tunisha Sharma's mother, the Waliv police detained him.

Meanwhile, Pawan Sharma further told the publication that Sheezan has relationships with several other women and this aspect was also revealed during a police probe.

On the other hand, Sheezan deleting every chat solidifies the assumption that maybe something went wrong with Tunisha and she didn't actually die by suicide.

The actor allegedly cheated on Tunisha Sharma. According to the police, Sheezan is not participating and is misleading the investigation. They said that following Tunisha's demise, he deleted WhatsApp conversations with a woman he used to have lengthy phone conversations with. "We will have to question that women too. We have also retrieved the chat that he had deleted," police said.

The deceased actor had featured in the TV show 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap' and films like 'Fitoor' and 'Baar Baar Dekho'.
