New Delhi: Chhavi Mittal, a breast cancer survivor, who has made no secret of her battle with breast cancer, has just posted photos on Instagram in which she proudly displays the scar left by her surgery. Although 2022 was a challenging year for her, she is unapologetic about her fight against breast cancer. On Wednesday, she wrote a reflective post on her life in 2022 just before the new year began.
Chhavi beamed as she posed on the beach. She can be seen wearing a solid white swimsuit. On her right back, you could see the scar from her surgery. The photographs were taken during a vacation in Dubai.
She captioned the photographs, “This is what I earned his year. A new life. A better one. A stronger one. #breastcancersurvivor.”
Being a cancer survivor, Chhavi relishes every opportunity to share her story and encourage others to confront their own battles with bravery.
She previously told Hindustan Times, “The reason why I share my recovery journey is that when I got cancer, everybody told me about the treatment. Nobody told me about life after cancer. I had the maximum number of questions for my doctors about life after cancer. How will my life be after cancer? It was very important for me to know that. Hence, I share my recovery journey with everybody because people should also know that life after cancer is normal. It can be as normal as you want it to be. Every cancer is not scary. Most cancers are treatable now. Early detection is the key.”
Chhavi is a well-known actress who has been in a variety of series, including 3 Bahuraaniya, Tumhari Disha, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann, and many more. She is married to writer Mohit Hussein and is a mother to two kids - a son named Arham and a daughter Areeza.
