New Delhi: Television actor Tunisha Sharma, who plays the role of Shehzadi Marian in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, has died. The actress allegedly died by suicide. She was reportedly found hanging to a fan in one of the makeup rooms on the set of her show. 


Tunisha was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared that she was no more. She was 20 years old. 


The police will investigate the death as suicide as well as murder both, the police told ANI.


"Police will investigate it from the angle of both murder and suicide. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot. Police are questioning everyone who was present on the set during that time: Waliv Police," tweeted ANI.






Earlier police had told ANI that Tunisha Sharma committed suicide by hanging herself on the set of a TV serial. She was taken to a hospital where she was declared brought dead.


 






According to India Today report, she was in her co-star, Sheezan Mohammed Khan’s make-up room. When Sheezan returned after his shot, he found the room locked. When despite repeated calls Tunisha did not open the door, it was then broken open and Tunisha was rushed to the hospital. 


Tunisha began her career as a child actor and has worked in films 'Fitoor', 'Baar Baar Dekho', 'Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh'. In ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ Tunisha Sharma played the role of young Katrina Kaif. 


She was also part of shows like 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat', 'Gabbar Poonchwala', 'Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh', 'Internet Wala Love' and more. 


The actor’s last post was shared six hours ago. She has posted her picture with caption, "Those who are driven by their passion doesnt stop."
