Mumbai: Popular TV actor-host Anup Soni has filed a complaint with Mumbai Police after a thief broke his car glass and stole one of his wife Juhi Babbar’s bags. He took to social media to inform the fans about the theft, which took place on his wife’s birthday on Tuesday (July 20) 


Anup tagged the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Police while sharing the tweet and revealed that he didn’t face any major loss. He shared photos of the broken glass while sharing the post.  


“What a day ,on wife @JuuhiBS's birthday today someone broke the car glass parked at the main Gulmohar Road,Juhu and fled away with one of her small bags...Luckily no major loss...Report filed @MumbaiPolice,” the ‘Balika Vadhu’ actor wrote on the micro-blogging site.

The 'Crime Patrol' host shared a heartfelt post for his wife along with a collage on Twitter. He wrote, "Happy Birthday Patno Ji. This year is special, can't wait to see you on screen...Shine."


Juhi and Anup tied the knot on March 14, 2011 in an intimate ceremony. They welcomed their son Imaan in 2012.



Anup Soni Becomes Certified Crime Scene Investigator


Anup Soni recently informed his fans that he got certified as a Crime Scene Investigation from International Forensic Sciences (IFS) Education Department. He shared a photo of his certificate on Instagram and said that it was 'challenging for him to go back to studies' but he is proud of his choice. Soni revealed that he took up the course during the COVID-19 lockdown.


"Certificate Course In 'Crime Scene Investigation.' During the recent lockdown I decided to invest my time and energy into something more constructive. Yes, it was extremely challenging, going back to 'studies of some sort'. But definitely a choice that I am proud of," he wrote.



On the professional front, Anup Soni will be next seen in 'Satyameva Jayate 2'. The film stars John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar in lead roles.
