New Delhi: Every child who grew up in the '90s knows KK Goswami from his roles on the fantasy kids' show ‘Shaktiman’. KK Goswami rose to stardom with series like ‘Gutur Gu,’ ‘C.I.D,’ ‘Vikraal Aur Gabraal,’ ‘Ssshhhh...Koi Hai,’ 'Shaka Laka Boom Boom' and many others. He is now having trouble finding acting gigs. The actor had only been working for a short time, but he had already established himself with a number of key parts in popular TV series.

After 2013's ‘Gutur Gu’, the actor had to settle for little parts to keep working. Unfortunately, the cards were not dealt in his favour. The actor is having trouble finding employment at this time. The actor told Hindustan Times that he never thought he'd be out of work for good.

He said, “It does bother me that despite doing such iconic shows, I do not have work today. Kabhi socha nahi tha ki mere pass shows hi nahi honge. I’m waiting for a good show.” Does that make him sad? And he quickly asserts, “Kya bura feel hoga, humne jaha se shuru kiya hai we have come a long way. I’m still doing work. (But) the work that I’m doing (right now) is for survival.”

According to KK Goswami, he has been communicating with a few casting directors and recently ran across producer Ekta Kapoor. He said, “I just met Ekta ji, I told her that I do not have any show. I asked her if she knew me and she acknowledged me. She asked one of her managers to take my number”

Meanwhile, There have been reports that Goswami's car caught fire recently. Navdeep, his son, was a passenger in the vehicle that crashed. The actor said that his 21-year-old son was in good condition, saying, “He is absolutely safe, we just incurred the car’s loss”.
