The shooting of actor-comedian Kapil Sharma's show too stands cancelled but latest reports suggests that 'The Kapil Sharma Show' producers are thinking about coming up with fresh episodes amid COVID-19 lockdown.

Speaking about the same, a source told an entertainment portal that, "Why not? Since the Corona virus struck the world, the most popular talk show hosts of America like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen Degeneres gave adopted a no-audience format. They’re even recording their shows from their homes. Kapil is likely to follow this novel way of beating the Corona."

Kapil Sharma, who made his Bollywood debut with Abbas-Mustan's hit film 'Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon?', has finally reacted on the rumours of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' going audience-less amid Coronavirus scare and has revealed that he has no idea about the same.


Speaking about the same to India Forums, Kapil said, "I don't have any information about this. I also read in some news."

Whereas, the makers are yet to share their side of the story.

Kapil Sharma's TV show is among the most watched programmes on small-screen. Apart from Kapil, popular names like Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh and Sumona Chakravarti are also a part of 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. Whereas, Archana Puran Singh is also seen as judge on the show.
