New Delhi: Television actress Munmun Dutta, best known for essaying the role of Babita in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', was enjoying her Europe vacation that started a week ago but had to cut short it because of an injury.
The actress, who was in Germany, met with an accident there and had to return home. She took to Instagram to inform her fans about the injury. "Had a small accident in Germany. Hurt my left knee very bad. Thus have to cut my trip short and fly back home," she posted in her Instagram story.
Prior to Germany, Munmun was in Switzerland. Sharing an album drinking hot chocolate, Munmun had asked, "How much is too much hot Chocolate?" 🤔 And added, "Well it doesn’t matter I guess🤷🏻♀️ kyunki 'Bade bade desho mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hai'."
The actress also went to the Lindt museum. She posted the pictures and wrote, "A visit to the Lindt Home Of Chocolate - A museum I was super excited to see up close."
Earlier, another actor of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah had also got injured. Amit Bhatt aka Champak Chacha was shooting for a scene in which he had to run, but he lost his balance and fell. The doctors had advised him complete bed rest. The actor is currently not shooting for the show and the makers of the show are cooperating with him and are wanting him to recover from his injury soon.
‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the most popular and longest-running sitcoms on Indian television. Amit Bhatt and Munmun Dutta have been a part of the show since its inception
The show recently completed 14 years, it premiered on 28 July 2008. Since then, there have been a lot of changes to its cast. Disha Vakani, who used to play Dayaben, left the show in 2017 and her character has not been replaced till now. Recently Sachin Shroff joined the show to play Taarak Mehta after Shailesh Lodha quit a few months back.
