New Delhi: TV actors Surbhi Jyoti and Sumit Suri are all set to get married in October this year, after a series of delays. The two were earlier supposed to get married in March, earlier this year. However, because of the unavailabilty of their preferred venue in Rajasthan, the two have now rescheduled their wedding for Octover 27, at a luxury resory in Jim Corbett National Park.


As per sources quoted by Hindustan Times,  their wedding will feature several eco-friendly rituals and this will reflect their commitment to sustainability and preservation of natural resources. The celebrations will also pay homage to the various elements of nature, symbolising earth, water, fire, air and space. Their wedding is likely to be a balance between tradition and environmental mindfulness.


Surbhi and Sumit have been working in the entertainment industry for many years now. The two first crossed paths while working on the musix video Haanji-The Marriage Mantra' where they portrayed a bride and groom. From theri, the on-screen chemistry soon turned into real-life romance.

Surbhi is known for her work in Punjabi films and TV serials. She is best known for Zee TV's romantic drama 'Qubool Hai' and 'Naagin 3'. 


Surbhi belongs to Jalandhar and began her career in regional theatre and films besides also working as a radio jockey.


Surbhi has also been a part of several music videos.


On the other hand, Sumit is born and brought up in Rishikesh. He made his debut through shofy feature films and in the film 'Warning'(2013). He has also been a part of films like  'What the Fish', 'Babloo Happy Hai' and more. He has also been a part of web series like 'The Test Case' and 'Home'.


On TV, he has been a part of 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4'.
