On August 28, Wednesday, Sudhanshu announced his decision to quit the TV show 'Anupamaa'.

And, in an interaction with news agency IANS, an actor on the condition of anonymity said, "Sudhanshu has been asked to leave the show because of his tantrums and politics."

A source close to the development told IANS, "Sudhandhu has apparently signed a new reality show."

However, no final confirmation from the makers of the hit TV show has come in any form though speculation is rife that Sudhanshu might join 'Bigg Boss Season 18'.

Meanwhile, Sudhanshu and the producer of 'Anupamaa'- Rajan Shahi, have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

During his live session, Sudhanshu said, "mai pichle chaar saal se roj pahuch raha hun apke ghar daily soap ke jariye, ek kirdar play kr raha hu jiske liye mujhe sara pyar aur narazgi mili, but wo narazgi bhi ek tarike se pyar hi raha hai. Agar aap naaraz na hote mere character dekh kar to mujhe lagta main tareeke se nibha nahi paa raha hoon." ( I have been reaching your home every day for the past four years through a daily soap, playing a character for which I've received both love and displeasure. But that displeasure, in a way, has also been a form of love. If you hadn't been displeased by my character, I would have felt that I wasn't portraying it properly.)

Sudhanshu further added, " I am not playing Vanraj Shah anymore in the show 'Anupamaa'. I am thankful for all the love, respect and support. I apologise for taking this sudden decision."

"Par hame jeevan mein aage badhna hi padta hai to I want to tell you all to keep loving me always in my future works."( But we have to move forward in life…)

"I will play various new characters, will not bore you in one role, Please keep supporting me in future," ended Sudhanshu.
