TV actor Shaheer Sheikh, who was last seen as 'Dev' in Sony TV's popular show 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' opposite Erica Fernandes, is reportedly all set to be back on TV with 'Colors' upcoming show based on 'Mughal-e-Azam'. Shaheer will be seen playing the role of 'Prince Salim' in the much-awaited show. The makers were in talks with various known TV actresses to feature opposite Shaheer. And seems like, the makers have finally found their 'Anarkali'. According to latest reports, TV's much-loved 'parvati' Sonarika Bhadoria might bag the role.

According to a leading daily, after weeks of racking their brains to finalise an actress to play Anarkali in Anirudh Pathak’s ambitious project, 'Mughal-E-Azam', the hunting has ended with Sonarika Bhadoria.

Speaking further about the same, a source told TOI that, “Several actresses were considered for the part, but when we thought of Sonarika, we realised that she fit the bill perfectly. While things have been formalised verbally, she is yet to sign on the dotted line.”

The much-hyped 'Colors' will reportedly go on floors on 30th June.
Speaking about Sonarika, she made her TV debut with Life OK's show 'Tum Dena Saath Mera' in 2011 & became a household name as 'Parvati' opposite Mohit Raina in hit show 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev'. She also played the lead role of 'Rajkumari Mrinal' opposite Ashish Sharma in 'Prithvi Vallabh' which recently went off-air.
