Ekta Kapoor's most successful love-saga 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' is all set to make a come back on 'Star Plus' with a reboot version. Yesterday (21st July), soap-queen Ekta Kapoor finally unveiled the first promo of the reboot version confirming that Erica Fernandes is stepping into Shweta Tiwari's shoes as 'Prerna'. The promo contains show's title track which is the recreation of original show's theme song which had Shweta Tiwari with the popular red dupatta. Minutes after Ekta released it, the promo went viral on the internet making everyone feel nostalgic.

“All the very best to everyone involved,” Ronit commented on the post and added, “Closest to my heart! I doubt anyone would be happier than me at the return. Please please give me one scene in the show.”

Erica Fernandes is confirmed as the female lead of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot. Speaking about other characters, there are reports that Parth Samthaan has been finalized as 'Anurag' whereas Hina Khan will play the iconic vamp 'Komolika' in the much-awaited show.

Reportedly, the show will reportedly went on-air in August.
