It is the wedding season and a total of five popular celebrities are getting hitched today and tomorrow, the first out of which being 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' fame TV actress Parul Chauhan who tied the knot in the morning today with Chirag Thakkar. We showed you the gorgeous pictures of the newlyweds just a while ago. Two more television actresses Additi Gupta and national award winning Shweta Basu Prasad will also set upon their new journeys in these tw days. While Additi's marriage with her businessman beau Kabir Chopra takes place tonight, Shweta will marry her long time boyfriend(now fiance) Rohit Mittal. The most popular out of these weddings are of Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani who's marrying Anand Piramal tonight and comedy king Kapil Sharma who will finally get hitched to Ginni Chatrath after years of dating today itself.

We have been seeing the pictures and videos from their pre-wedding festivities and now check out Shweta Basu Prasad at her Mehendi ceremony. Shweta who secretly got engaged to her boyfriend in June this year, looked pretty in a pink silk saree on her mehendi yesterday as the henna was being applied to her feet. The family members danced around the bride-to-be.

The official mehendi ceremony takes place today at The Grand Hyatt hotel in Pune. Some pictures of bride-to-be Shweta in a pink lehenga with henna being applied to her hands are also making rounds.

Seen also in 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' as a child artist, Shweta had started her film career with 'Makdee' in 2002 and even won a national award for the film. She was last seen in Star Plus show 'Chandra Nandini' opposite Rajat Tokas.

According to a TOI report, it was Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap who played cupid between the two. Shweta and Rohit have been in a relationship for around four years now.
