New Delhi: The number of confirmed novel Coronavirus cases is increasing with every passing day. Yesterday, we informed you that Bollywood actor Aftab Shivadasani has been diagnosed with the virus. The ‘Hungama’ actor, who recently became father of a baby girl, is currently observing home quarantine. Now, TV actor Sanjay Gagani has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Sanjay Gagani, who plays the main antagonist in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’, tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday (September 12). The actor, while talking to a leading daily, said that he was having fever and he decided to self-isolate himself. The actor has quarantined himself at his house in Mumbai.

While his fiancée Poonam Preet is currently in Delhi, the actor’s brother and sister-in-law are taking care of him.



“Yes, I have tested positive today and am home quarantined,” Sanjay told Times Of India.

The talented actor also told the daily that he is taking immunity boosters and drinking kadha to recover from COVID-19. He also revealed

On the professional front, Sanjay Gagnani started his TV career with ‘Bairi Piya’. He has featured in several popular shows including ‘Naagin 4’, ‘Veera’ and ‘Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka’. He shot to fame after playing the role of Prithvi in Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhopar starrer ‘Kundali Bhagya’.



Several TV celebs including Rajesh Kumar, Parth Samthaan, Mohena Kumari Singh, Shrenu Parikh and Krishna Soni had tested positive for COVID-19. They have now recovered from the virus. Himani Shivpuri, who is currently seen in 'Happu Ki Ultan Pultan', has also been diagnosed with the virus. The veteran actress is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, 'Naamkarann' actor Zain Imam has tested negative for COVID-19. The TV heartthrob underwent a test as he recently came in contact with Aftab Shivdasani, who tested positive for Coronavirus.
